Alright so, I was tryna dm a friend on X Formerly Twitter and every time I tried typing a message the words would change or get scrambled or the cursor would go back to the beginning. and for those who will say is the touchpad, It isn't. I always look when I'm pressing stuff so I'm aware it isn't the case

Unable to type in to box on 'Control Panel'.

This issue might occur if some file types for indexing were disabled after the updates. We suggest that you try rebuilding your search index by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R, type control.exe srchadmin.dll, and click on
  OK.
• Click on the Advanced button.
• Click on the File Types tab. From here, you can choose to include certain file types from indexing by checking them in the list.

Issue with typing using keyboard

• Are you facing this issue on all the web browsers?

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

1. Damaged hardware.

2. Missing Windows Updates.

3. Corrupt keyboard driver.

Method 1:

I would suggest you to connect an external keyboard and check if the issue persists or not.

Method 2:

If the issue persists, I suggest you to download and install all available Windows Updates and devices drivers from the computer manufacturer website.

Method 3:

If the issue persists, I suggest you to download and install latest keyboard driver from the manufacturer website and check if it helps.

Twitter app crashes while I type

Hi,

I've re-installed the Twitter app on both computers, and both continue to experience the same problem. The Windows Store apps' Troubleshooter could not identify the problem. I think I partly have the same issue with almost any app that requires typing, including
the Edge browser. Right now, I'm typing this message, and sometimes the arrow keys "stick", making it difficult to edit the message. I mean I hit the arrow key and nothing happens, then I hit it once again, and the cursor moves two positions at once. It seems
every apps "loves" its own particular keys to show the key-sticking misbehavior with. But Twitter is the only app that can stick with literally any key and which crashes when this behavior occurs. It more readily crashes on the computer that has less memory
(2 GB) and less processor power.

QUESTION: Can it have anything to do with the automatic functions, like proofreading and making suggestions while I type? Is there any way to turn these functions off?
