    windows 11 key suddenly invalid


    i built my own computer a while back and got an OEM license not pro, and im on windows home. i believe it was a windows 10 license but i know you get the free upgrade to windows 11. it worked great for many months, however, whenever i upgraded to 24H2, i got a popup saying that i needed to activate windows. all of the sudden, the product key was basically wiped from my device and i only found it in the registry editor of the backup key. i try to input it but it says its invalid and gives me the 0x803FA067 error. i have tried reinstalling windows, and i know its the right key because it ends

    Windows 11 Home to Pro upgrade

    Want to upgrade 11 Home to 11 Pro. Tried download, but apparently files transferred were for 11 Enterprise. This will not activate; error is "invalid digital license or product key". This is on a new Surface. How to proceed?

    Can withdraw/delete this. The suggestion to downgrade - listed below - with a 'fake' windows 10 key works.

    the handle is invalid HELP!


    I'm going through the same thing right now. i tried to go in and come in on safe mode but it still would give me the same error. Now it will take my password, start to log in and bring up my main screen but it blip then goes back to the sign in page where i put my password in it would give that 'invalid handle" message.
