    BitLocker recovery key. I have a recovery key in my MS account, but I do not see my device.


    I have a Microsoft account on Windows 11 and I know that all my BitLocker recovery keys saved in my MS account on my connected device. But now, when I need the recovery key I cannot see the device in my MS account. No device - no keys. How does it work, if when it necessary I do not see my device with Bitlocker keys.What should I do now? Btw, I did not change any hardware, just updated SSD controller driver. But it does not matter because I usually check and see my device in MS account, but not this time. The device has disappeared from my account.

    1. Are you not able login to your computer due to BitLocker Recovery Key?
    2. Did you ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key on your computer?
    3. Are you not able to login to your Microsoft Account to find the BitLocker Recovery Key?
    4. Are you using Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional?

    Meanwhile, try finding BitLocker Recovery Key if you have ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key for your computer.

    Please elaborate on the issue, so that we can understand the concern and get back to us to help you further.

    No, no other accounts.

    What puzzles me is why the Bitlocker recovery key is not listed on the microsoft account, but there is a recovery key listed there for a computer I do not recognise.

    I have several laptops but only the HP Envy has had Bitlocker on it. So what key is this on my account? And why isn't the Envy key there?

    I have a laptop that is booting up asking for the recovery key. When I log into my Microsoft account on another device it does list this computer in the devices, but when I select to manage bitlocker recovery keys, this computer is not listed? Where can I get the recovery key?
