Windows 10: Windows 11 Upgrade from Win 10 - B450 Mobo issues, bios/Legacy/TPM2.0

I have an MSI B450 Tomahawk Max with legacy bios running Win10 OS.I want to upgrade to Win 11 but have a string of problems.Can’t enable TPM2 as bios boots in legacy and not UEFI, I can’t change over to UEFI because Win 10 was installed using MBR and not GPTAs I see things my best option is to update the mobo to the latest firmware, buy a new HDD and do a fresh install of win 11 in GPT, connect my old HDD transfer to transfer files. I’ll then need to buy a new Microsoft office licence key.Maybe I am missing something obvious but if anyone has had the same problems or can offer some advice I’d

USB C issues with B450 Tomahawk Max mobo

Since I have my new pc I have constant issues with using USB devices especialy usb c on B450 Tomahawk Max mobo.

My SD card reader usb c type keeps connecting and disconnecting (I replaced it same issue and it works on another laptop). Some times the mouse and keyboard stops working and I have to reboot to make it work again.

So far I tried the following:

- updating bios to v37 (from v35) with cmos clear

- BIOS settings/advanced/wake up even setup/resume by usb device: enable

- Stop Windows From Powering Off Your USB Devices

- Reinstalled Nvidia studio drivers and AMD (chipset etc.)

- Switched to Windows high performance under energy instead of Amd Ryzen power balanced.

- deleting usb drivers in device manager but no fix after reboot

Windows 11 on Legacy BIOS

To install Windows 11 in a supported fashion it requires BIOS UEFI.

Unsupported Windows 11 installations may not benefit from the improvements in performance, reliability, and security.

It may be possible to dual boot Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

See if the BIOS has options for Legacy and UEFI with and without CSM.

If there are UEFI options then switching from BIOS Legacy to BIOS UEFI may be an option.
