Windows 10: Unable to receive Verification code from microsoft login

Because you're accessing sensitive info, we'll send a code to b*************@outlook.com to verify your identity.I tried to login into my Microsoft account in my windows machine and the Microsoft is asking for code instead of password and when I try hitting "Send Code" button there are no code which are sent on the mail of my outlook.com account.Kindly treat this on a urgent basis. Thanks

If your security info's are up to date, you may be experiencing delays receiving the code which I have also experienced before. Cant receive verification code

I'm experiencing difficulties in receiving verification codes from Microsoft accounts. However, I am able to receive email updates by substituting the email address with another one. The problem lies in the fact that I am unable to receive any verification codes, and I do not have any alternative phone number or email address available to receive the code.
