Windows 10: Domain PCs "Your PC will restart after one minute" when a new profile created - Windows 11

We do not have this problem with Windows 10. With exactly the same set of policies as a Windows 10 PC, a Windows 11 Azure-joined Domain PC will schedule a reboot within a minute of a new user signing in and creating a new profile. This can happen up to 5 times in a row, such that users no longer want to use Windows.This is happening on Dell Optiplex PCs and Latitude Laptops straight from the factory, or rebuilt with System Restore. Fully Windows updated, fully BIOS updated, or otherwise, same thing. SFC Scannow is inconclusive.We have had Pros trawling through event logs and seeing nothing b

Migrate Locale Profile to Domain

I removed my reply because watching those instructions on TechNet I started wondering if they really work with Windows 10.

Anyway, whatever you try create first a dummy profile, customize it a bit and move it to domain. If everything works, you can then move real profiles.

 

upgrade windows 10 pro to windows 11 - domain user profile

Good morning everyone,

I'm trying to upgrade from windows 10 pro to 11 pro.

the pc is in domain and is used by users with domain profile but with local profile data

the procedure comes to the end and install windows 11 pro.

If I log in with users who already had access to the same PC with Windows 10, they find a new profile without their data.

Before going into production I would like to understand if it is possible to upgrade while also maintaining the local domain profiles without losing data and customizations.

Am unable to create a new user. Accounts -> Add someone else to this PC options is not working to create a new account.

Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Try few of the troubleshooting steps below and check if it helps.

I suggest you to sign out from the current user account, restart the computer, sign-in and check with the status of this issue. As this might be a temporary issue.

Follow the below steps to create a new user account:

• Press Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on
  Control Panel.
• Select User Accounts, click on Manage another account.
• Select Add a new user in PC settings, click on
  Add someone else to this PC and follow onscreen instructions.
