Windows 10: How do I get a product key so I can update and register my all In one computer from Windows...

Help. Nothing is working.

Find Windows 10 Product Key Registered

Hi,

I have bought 6x Windows 10 product keys for various computers around the house, and have the Product Keys listed in a document. I have listed which computers have been registered with which Product Key. Unfortunately I didn't immediately document which
key I used with the last computer I installed.

Is there any way I can get the Product Key that was used on a particular computer? Even if it's the last 5 digits that will help.

Thank you for contacting Microsoft community.

I suggest you to Uninstall the license using the following steps.

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (Admin)
• At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs -upk
• Press Enter, this will uninstall the product key from the computer.

Further on, install Windows 8.1 activate the copy with the product key on the new machine. Then again upgrade the same to Windows 10 using Window Update or Media Creation Tool.

1. You should not post your email address online.

2. Which Windows 10 did you download with the Media Creation Tool? Did you download just plain "Windows 10" or did you pick "Windows 10 Home Single Language". Most likely you wanted just plain "Windows 10" and NOT "Windows 10 Home Single Language".

3. If you did pick just plain "Windows 10" and attempted to install it, when it asked for a product key did you try clicking the link at the bottom of that screen that says "I don't have a product key"? After all, that is true, you don't have a product key.

4. You can't get your previous product key just from email, but you can log into your Microsoft Account and select the Devices link and see if the computer was registered with your Microsoft Account and it will tell you exactly which version of Windows 10 was on it:
