Windows 10: Can't left click using touchpad or mouse while holding another button on keyboard or mouse?

I have a Corsair a1600 laptop recently reconfigured to Win 11. I've installed all proper drivers and have no issues otherwise. Left click doesn't work using the inbuilt touchpad or using the Corsair M65 Wireless mouse. I've reset iCue, reinstalled mouse drivers, disabled click lock, and done every other fix I can find on the internet. It is specifically a left mouse button issue, switching the primary button to RMB allows a 'hold and click' but still doesn't allow the LMB to do so. The same applies to the touchpad. Initially the issue only presented while playing video games, but has made itse

Mouse and touchpad not working

Hey did exactly what you suggested and the first time i did it the mouse cursor became visible, it was at the center of the screen but i still couldnt make it move with the touchpad and i plugged in my usb mouse and that doesnt work too. I did it a few moret times but cursor never showed up again and still could make either the touchpad or the mouse to work. Do you have anymore suggestion?

 

Left handed mouse when docked and right handed touchpad when undocked

You can configure the mouse settings for left hand and set the touchpad for normal use.

Follow these steps to configure the mouse settings:

  Press Windows key + I to get the Settings screen.

  Click on Devices and then click on Mouse and Touchpad.

Using left mouse button and right touchpaper button as Main Button

Yes, your suggestion is logical, however in Windows Mouse/touchpad button configuration is universal, so if the left mouse button is set as the main button, that will also affect the touchpad and vice versa . . .

Please add this suggestion to the Feedback hub on Windows 10 (Windows Key + F) and hopefully the developers may take notice and provide us with a setting for this in a future update . . .
