Formatting a Laptop that came pre installed with Windows 7

I just recently found my old laptop that I want to wipe clean and re install Windows 7. I have the product key that was on the bottom of the laptop and need to know the next steps. Windows 7 was pre installed. I did not purchase it.

Method 1:

I suggest you to run Network adaptor troubleshooter and check if it works:

• Click on Start and enter troubleshooting in the search box.
• Tap or click Troubleshooting.
• Tap or click Network and Internet, tap or click Network Adapter, and follow the instructions on your screen.

Method 2:

If issue persist, try resetting TCP/IP and check if it works.

• Press Windows key + X key, and click on Command Prompt (admin).
• Type the following command in Command Prompt and press ENTER:
  

netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

If you do not want to specify a directory path for the log file, use the following command:

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

• Reboot the computer.

How to downgrade to previous operating system on the computer came with Windows 10 pre-installed

• Is your computer came with Windows 10 pre-installed?
• What exactly do you mean by: " 4th factory reset, it freeze's on log in, boots up and these no files"?
• Have you performed factory reset on your device? If so, how?
• What is the exact issue you are facing on Windows 10?

I would like to inform that, Windows.old will be created only if you upgrade to Windows 10 from previous operating system.

So, do let us know clearly if your laptop came with pre-installed Windows 10/ upgraded from previous operating system.
