Windows 10: MS Photos cropping not working - solution needed

I have installed Windows 11 on my relatively new laptop. Everything was running smoothly. Now MS Photos will not allow me to crop. Full sized images are so small I can't see them. I have repaired, reset and reinstalled with no change. I cannot scan for errors as the command requires "Admin" I'm it!I use this app frequently and need it to work. How is one supposed to crop with this "new" update?

• What changes have you made prior to this issue?
• To which program are you exactly using the crop tool? Photos App or Office 2016?
• You mentioned crop tool is not working properly when Photos App is used. Have you tried to close it, and check if the issue persists?

MS Photos default setting to Crop and Rotate

Hi. We use MS Photos to crop hundreds and hundreds of photos every week. Is there any way to set a default that when we move from one image to the next MS Photos automatically brings us the Crop and Rotate screen? At present, once we save an image and
click on the next arrow, we have to click through several screens to get back to the Crop and Rotate screen.

Crop tool Photos App not working

Not sure what you are suggesting. On the Photo Viewer App, there is nothing that lets me select, Aspect Ratio or Custom. It just gives an 'edit' option and when you choose 'Crop or Rotate' the Crop doesn't work. It just will not let you 'draw the lines'
as needed. Jumps to it's own conclusions, which cuts off part of the photo itself.

Weird...??!!
