  2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

  3. Want onedrive gone but it continues to hang on

Yes, when downloading files to desktop I want them to show up on the desktop, not in folder .\\onedrive\desktop. I have no desire to use onedrive for anything therefore I want it gone.

    OneDrive settings gone

    You are welcome Uriel.

It is definitely not normal that "Microsoft OneDrive" is not listed either in the Startup Settings page or Task manager.

Do you have the OneDrive icon on the bottom right on taskbar? Is there any error on it?

Can you tell me what the end goal here is? Are you hoping to get rid of OneDrive altogether, or you want to decide when to run OneDrive vs. having it run automatically upon startup? Based on the answer to this I will provde you some suggestion.
