    New Dell Inspiron 16 keeps hanging and freezing


    I got this laptop about two months ago. It keeps hanging every few minutes, particularly when I'm switching between monitors or I'm trying to click on the Windows toolbar. This happens even when I only have a one or two programs open. I've tried all the hardware checks that Dell asked me to, and it shows no hardware issue. I've done memory diagnostics, which showed no issue. I have also reset the computer to factory setting, reinstalled Windows, and made sure every required and optional update was completed. I'm now I'm trying to figure out if it's something with the software.I saved the syste

    New Dell PC randomly freezing/hanging

    So, My new Dell XPS PC has begun to randomly hang or freeze(3-4secs) and I assume it will only get worse. The pointer will lock in place for like 3 or 4 seconds. It's 4 days old and I think a contributing factor may be that I uninstalled a bunch of stuff that came pre-loaded with the PC or it could just be a bad install. I did a windows image back up, but that was after I had removed the files and set it up to my liking. I did change a setting in nvidia's control panel, that enabled full output dynamic range, too. Any suggestion would be very welcome. Thanks.

    EDIT: The problem appears to be generated by a DELL program: Dell SupportAssist Remediation Service

    I uninstalled the program and the issue has been resolved. I place this here for search purposes should anyone search for a solution for similar problems.

    dell inspiron 546

    I have just downloaded Windows 10 to a Dell Inspiron 546 with a Dell 810 All in One printer. The previous OS was Windows 7. I had downloaded Windows 10 because the Windows invitation assured me all was well for the download.

    Having made the download I discover I can not print. The printer is listed in settings. It used to be the default device.

    Can you advise the steps I should take?
