    I seem to have miss-typed my existing Microsoft ID password when I activated Windows 11 on my new laptop. Although I immediately created a local administrator account, I can no longer log into my original Microsoft User. I understand that I will need a Microsoft account again, however, not least to active Office Home and Business perpetual -- Correct? -- which I also purchased with the new laptop.Therefore I propose to:1 Delete the existing MS administrator account on the laptop into which I can no longer log using my local administrator acco

    Please do let us know the following information to understand the issue and assist you better:

    • As you have already created new user account, have you tried to log-in with that account and access the game?
    • Is this issue confined only to the specific game?

    I suggest you to try few of the below steps and check if it helps:

    Step 1: I suggest you to check the number of user accounts created on your laptop and also to ascertain the administrator account.

    • Press Windows + R key together on your desktop screen.
    • Type netplwiz and hit Enter.

    Step 2: Enable Built-in administrator.

    I suggest you to enable built-in administrator account, try to log-in with that account and access the game to check if there is any issues with the current user account.

    • Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.
    • Click on Command Prompt (admin) to open
      Command Prompt.
    • Type the following command and hit Enter: net user administrator /active: yes
      (Check for the spaces)
    • Now log off from the current user and try to login to the administrator account that is enabled.
    Note: Please follow the same steps and type net user administrator /active: no to disable admin account after the troubleshooting is done.

    The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

    You can Enable the built in Administrator account in Windows 10, then create a local account.

    I suggest you to refer the steps below and check if it helps

    • Press Windows+ X, select Command Prompt, and then click
      Run as Administrator.
    • When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
    • At the command prompt, type net user administrator /active: yes, and then press Enter.
    • Type net user administrator <Password>, and then press Enter.

      Note In this command, <Password> represents the actual password that you want to set for the administrator account.
    • Type exit, and then press Enter.
    • Log off the current user account. And login and check the are you able to open the files
