Just built a new Win 11 PC, when I tried to print a simple text document on Win 11 I get this message "This app doesn't support print preview". How do I solve this problem? PC Info: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor Windows 11 Pro, Ver.24H2, build 26100.3775 1. Apps that worked on Win10 but get this error on Win 11: EmEditor Free 64-bit Version 25.0.1n MS Notepad Apps that don't get this error on Win 11: Open office Version 4.1.15 2. Access Win 10 user account on new Win 11 PC

I have built a new PC and have a clean install of Win 11 Pro. I was unable to upgrade from my old Win 10 Pro machine as it had an unsupported CPU.

I have a O&O disk image of the old Win 10 system drive and I need to copy my documents from my Win 10 C:\Users\<username>\Documents\ folder to the Win 11 machine but don't have permissions to access the folder when the Win 10 disk image is mounted as a drive in Win 11. There are also some app config files in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\ that would speed up my transition to the Win 11 machine.

Can anyone tell me how to set the permissions to access the Win 10 folders please?

On my previous win 10 computer I had 8 external drives attached, I redirected the DOCUMENT folder to a folder on one of these externals (to save space on my main drive c:. drive,) That computer "died"; I bought a new win 11 and attached all the external drives to it--win 11 recognized lots of my old settings including my document redirection, BUT there are now lots of document* folders scattered among my other externals. I want ONE single document folder for all my saved pdfs.

*some folders seem to duplicate data in other folders...too much clutter.

Win 11 - No "direct" way to show documents that are ONLY ON MY HARD DRIVE?????

My Win 10 computer died and so I purchased a new Dell with Win 11 installed.

The first thing I'm noticing - having installed exactly one program (Quicken) on the computer - is that Win 11 seems to absolutely INSIST that I use OneDrive, for all my documents, even if I don't want to. I created a Quicken folder on my hard drive and copied my date there. While attempting to correct this I noticed another difference in Win 10 vs. Win 11 behavior that I find vexing.

In Win 10 clicking on File Explorer > This PC > Documents I saw a list of folders and files that lived exclusively on my PC. In Win 11 clicking File Explorer > This PC > Documents brings up folders and files that live on OneDrive and it DOESN'T show the the Quicken folder I created on my PC.

Is there any way of adjusting things to get File Explorer operating as it did on the Win 10 computer? I can get to that Quicken folder on my hard drive by going through OS (C > Users > etc. but I have to believe I'm missing something here.
