Hello, I'm using Windows 11 Pro. Recently I freshly installed it and facing a problem, my rear headphone jack is showing as ATAPI Internal Connector & no sound. I did these steps to solve the problem:1 Update windows in its latest version.2 Install latest windows 11 support audio driverRealtek Audio Driver from my MotherboardsGigabyte B450M DS3H V2 support page.3 Disable and re-enable that audio driver.4 Troubleshoot audio from: Settings>System>Troubleshoot>Other troubleshoots>audio.Nothing is working. Please, Help!

    Windows 10 rear jack usage

I just "upgraded" from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and now my rear audio jack no longer recognizes my headphones.

When i plug the headphones into the rear jack the list of sound devices shows them as "not plugged in" because it thinks headphones can only be plugged into the front jack. When i plug headphones into the front they work as intended but this is not an option
    for me.

Is there any way of changing which jacks are allowed to be compatible with headphones?

Or to add the rear jack as an option under the headphones device that is already there?

  3. Plug broke off in rear speaker jack: front headphone jack disabled now

Your sound driver may have options to enable/disable jacks based on what's plugged in the front/rear. For instance, my Realtek driver has:

As for removing the broken plug it would depend on how far in it broke and how tight the jack is. I don't have any personal experience but there are a number of suggestions if you Google for "how to remove broken 3.5mm jack."

There is suppose to be a pin header connector that goes from the front jack to the motherboard. You might wanna check if it is properly connected to the mobo or if it is connected at all.
    It looks something like this:
