  1. Consistent Memory Related BSODs

Hi since recently upgrading my PC from AM4 to AM5 I've consistently been having BSODs occur with memory related error codes such as Memory_Management etc. Originally I had thought the first kit of DDR5 RAM I had purchased had a faulty stick after testing each there was still issues, bought a second kit to see if I had gotten exceedingly unlucky with the first one and the same issue persisted. I took a look at the QVL list for RAM for my motherboard x870 ASUS AYM Gaming WiFi W and neither kit was on it. Rookie mistake but I've had non QVL RAM on boards work just fine but I know that AM5 is ve

Consistent crashes - related to hpcommrecovery...

I have yet to do the long list of instructions. This status update indicates why...
I went into Services from Task Manager and set the hpcommrecovery to manual. It's been a few days now since I did that, and it has stopped the problem. I captured the screen on the details, and it doesn't tell me much. I searched on some of the data in that report and came up with nothing.

At this point, I'm wondering if I will miss hpcommrecovery. From what I find, this is what it does:

At this point, I'm not sure it's worth the effort you folks would put in supporting me as I step through the list of tasks.

I'll be glad to go ahead and do that if someone indicates I should resolve this.

    I appreciate the help here.

  3. Getting BSOD 0x124 error

    Ignore what everone said here.

0x124 BSOD is usually related to VCCIO (VTT), run Prime95 version 26.6 with custom sizes of 512K to 640K with 50% of your memory for at least 8 hours.

If you get a 0x124 BSOD, increase VCCIO voltage by small steps, run Prime95 again until your stable.

If you pass Prime95 512K to 640K without a BSOD, then its Vcore too low. I'd suggest running IntelBurnTest with 80% of your memory to verify stability (8 to 12 hours).

Oh, and yeah, if this problem appeared all of the sudden, the reason is CPU degradation, you can prevent it by enabling C-States or adjust your overclock to use lower voltages.

    Blue Screen Problems

How long did you let memtest run for? I would let it run overnight. Did you try running something like Intel Burn Test? It sounds like you took the steps I would suggest. I had that same motherboard (and E8400) and when I had that BSOD it was always memory related.
