Windows 10: Windows 11 keyboard language layout automatically changing and no spell checking solutions...

A few days ago my keyboard layout which is in Portuguese I live and bought the laptop in Portugal suddenly started changing to English in whatever document was being written in English, and although spell checker highlights words including when using email no suggestions are now being given, although grammar seems to be working fine.I have an older laptop running Windows 10 which I still have, so tonight I set the "Time & language settings" on the windows 11 laptop to be identical and it didn´t change anything. I´m running office 365 . It´s like the "override for default input me

  How many keyboard language have you installed?
  

If you have installed more than 1 keyboard language in your system, then I suggest you to remove the keyboard language other than default language and check if it helps.

Follow the steps to remove the language.

  Open Control panel.

  Click on language.
  
• 
  Select the language and click on remove option at the top.

To disable automatic keyboard layout change, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.
• Choose Control Panel.
• Under View by, select Small icon.
• Click Language.
• On the left side, choose Advance settings.
  
  
  
  
• Under Switching input methods, uncheck Let me set a different input method for each app window.
  
  
  
  
• Click Save.
• Restart your computer.

Accidentally pressing some shortcut keys may cause some unwanted changes on your computer. Kindly view the samples below:

Windows Key + Space key = Changes language/keyboard pairs.

Alt + Shift = Change Language.

Ctrl + Shift = Changes keyboard.
