Windows 10: How do I keep my taskbar from shrinking up and hiding most of my windows?

Frequently, my taskbar's working area just suddenly shrinks. Sometimes if I mess around moving windows from one monitor to the other for 30+ minutes, I can trick it to unshrink, but then I am stuck with windows on the wrong screen. Example below I found a window that when moved to a diff window would fix it, but now I cant move that window back without it just going right back.Ok, so... image upload seems to be failing. Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.

follow these steps

1. On any blank area of your Windows 10 taskbar, right click to reveal a list of menu options.

2. At the bottom of the list of options, click on Taskbar settings.

3. In the Taskbar menu, ensure that the option for "Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode" is enabled by clicking to turn the small lever to the right of the option blue.

4. Your taskbar should disappear automatically once the hide options are enabled.

Windows 10 taskbar won't hide

I tried the procedure above three times. I restarted in between each try. These instructions do NOT work in Windows 10.

PLEASE FIX THIS PROBELM WITH AN UPDATE.
