Windows 10: Disable "User Session Time out"

Hello! working with edge browser pointed to an IP address for a web based application. After 5 minutes I see a "user session timed out" appear. I've disabled putting tabs to sleep in the edge settings, yet this still happens. How would I disable this setting?

Windows 7 - automatic force logout the user after specific session time (even if user is active)

Hi,

I am looking for a way to force logout a user after 1 hour of computer usage. This will need to happen even if user is active.

It will be good to have some kind of message pop up on screen 5 minutes before the logout to indicate the user to save the details.

This is NOT

• idle time log out
• Auto screen saver after idle time.

User should be able to login again after entering the password....... and the 1 hour session cycle repeats.

logical steps may be as below.

1. trigger = user login
2. counter time - time "system time now + 60 minutes"
3. trigger 1 = (system clock time = counter time - 5 min)
4. Action - system message ="you have 5 minutes to save your work. Please save your work to avoid losing it"
5. trigger 2 = (system clock time = counter time )
6. Action - Execute logout.exe

I am not programmer and hence the steps mentioned above may not be accurate.

Please help either by guiding me to some of existing ready solutions available in market or a simple code (like time out counter).

"Access denied 0x80004005" issue - RDP session - Windows server 2016 - User logon time out

I have scheduled a task running all the time on my Windows server 2016.

Connecting through RDP, few functionalities require user to be logged on to the server to be processed but it seems user log offs after a time limit. After certain time limit, task was facing "Access denied 0x80004005"
Error

i have tried changing the following in RDP session host settings in group policy:

• automatic re connection -> enabled
• deny logoff of an administrator logged in to the console session -> enabled
• configure keep alive connection interval -> 99999
• session time limits -> disabled

But they didnt help my task, still its facing "Access denied 0x80004005" Error

 

Disable blur on lock screen when opening a Windows session (1903 update)

Hi,

1903 Update introduces lock screen blurring when connecting to a Windows session. Problem I have is that prevents the user from appreciating the wallpaper I set specially for the lock screen as opening a Windows session can be quite long. I suggest there
should be a setting that allow us to disable the blur.
