Windows 10: Windows 11: Unable to view PDF's in preview - annoying.

Hello, I just got a new MS Surface, with Windows 11. My computer technician transferred my data. Only one problem remains: I am unable to view PDF's in preview. It says there's a problem with my preview handler. Anyone else experiencing this? My technician says I need to wait for the next windows update... he said people must be hollering about it. Well I am hollering. Any fixes out there?Thanks,Shauna Baldwin

No PDF viewer in File explorer preview pane

Conflicts with the program settings is one of the possible reasons why you are unable to view the PDF preview in the File Explorer Preview Pane. We suggest that you try the troubleshooting steps in this

thread, and go to the post that was provided by Michalis_Georgiou
on October 24, 2017 in the 2nd page, and check if you will still encounter the same issue.

Viewing PDFs in Windows Explorer Preview Pane

Is there a fix to viewing PDFs in the Explorer Preview Pane? I have tried several suggestions that came up on my search, but none worked. My co-workers and myself had no problems in the past, but now we cannot see what a PDF is until we open it. This
is concerning, since we receive drawings from clients and do not know what they are unless we open the files. Being able to preview them saved a lot of time. Any suggestions are worth a try.

 

Unable to open pdfs while previewing print copy in turbotax

Turbotax is not allowing me to preview print copy and open adobe automatically receiving error. "Hmmm, the PDF Preview didn't work. We're not sure why. We recommend you save the PDF on your computer by selecting save as PDF. You can always open it and view it later." Adobe is up to date and using windows 11. Uninstalled and reinstalled the program using cd copies don't have the digital copies. I can see the pdf in adobe only by opening the file. Turbotax support believes the issue is with windows 11 settings or adobe. Any suggestions?
