Windows 10: Group policy doesn't apply properly

Hi everyone. I've created a group in my active directory , in which the policy applied requires for each user to have a "strong" password length , complexity and it expires every 3 moths. I forced my user to change the password, and the length and complexity criteria were properly asked .But the expiration rule doesn't apply. What configuration did i miss ?

Couldn't connect to windows group policy service????

Do let us know when exactly you received this error code?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted user profile, User Profile Service or Group Policy Client service stopped working, or Antivirus software conflicts.

I suggest you to check with the following and check if it helps.

Group Policy Client service, this service is responsible for applying settings configured by administrators for the computers and users through the Group Policy component. If the service is disabled
the settings will be applied and applications and components will not be manageable through Group Policy.

Step 1: Stop the Group Policy Client service.

• Press Windows Key + R on the keyboard and type
  services.msc, Services window gets opened.
• Search for Group Policy Client service, right click on it and click on
  Stop.
• Restart the computer.

Step 2: Start
the service and set it to Automatic:

• Press Windows Key + R on the keyboard and type
  services.msc, Services window gets opened.
• Search for Group Policy Client service, right click on it and click on
  Properties.
• Start the service, set
  Startup type to Automatic.

Group Policy won't apply to Security Group

Dear all

I have a problem applying Group Policy when Security filtering is done by Security Group.

Policy is couple of year old and it has been working perfectly till some time ago (not sure when, I realized I have a problem a month ago).

So, under Security filtering I have entered Security group, removed Authenticated users. Under Delegation I've add read permissions to Domain computrers.

In this way it has been working till now, suddenly policy won't apply. I've tried to add Authenticted users Read permissions but it didn't help.

When under Security filtering is added user or computer, policy applies, when is added Security group, policy won't apply. Message is - Filtering: Denied (Security).

Do you have any idea what colud be the problem?
