Windows 10: I am Facing an issue of having 4 windows 11 on the same volume 3

HelloI am facing an serious issue of having 4 windows 11 option on the volume 3 to bootit is giving me an choices to select among the 4 ones also there automatic timer which is used to select the automatically the first optiontell me how should I recover through these problemAlso for the convinence I have attached the photo of it so please let me the know the solution of these problem

Hello. I recently bought a new laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ITL05) and also i bought Windows 11. After the first installation, which went good, I tought that I didn’t set up the partitions ( I later found out that i could set them up like i wanted from the settings) so i tried to reinstall the windows. After this process, every time i turn on the laptop, i have to choose Windows 11 (on volume 3) and Windows 11 (on volume 4). If I choose the one on volume 3 it works perfectly and if I choose the one on volume 4 it doesn’t work and takes me to different options of repair, reinstall, etc…

I really need some help to find out how can I erase the volume 4 windows, so the laptop powers on normally and I don’t have to choose any option.

Also, I am opened to any solution, even erasing all content and reintalling Windows from scratch, since the laptop has no personal content.

1. What is the exact issue that you are facing?

2. Did you receive any error message?

3. Does that mean that the Volume mixer icon is not present on the desktop?

4. Are you facing this sound issue on any specific application, since you had mentioned Skype?

If the Volume mixer icon is missing from the desktop, this issue may arise when the notification for the Volume mixer is not turned on in the settings.

Please follow the below steps and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

  Type Notifications in the Searchbar and select Notifications and action center.
  
• 
  Select the option “Select which icons appear on the taskbar”.
  
• 
  Make sure the Volume icon has been turned on from the settings.
  

If the issue still persists, I suggest you to download and install any pending updates that needs to be installed on the computer through Windows update and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Windows (volume 1) an Windows (volume 4)????

• Is this a dual boot computer? If yes, which is the second operating system installed?
• In Which drive did you install Windows 10?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

• Press Windows + R, type msconfig in box
• Select boot tab, and select Windows 10 as default
• Click on apply and close the Window
