    Ctrl+V not working on word anymore?


    Hi everyone! I am having a problem pasting text to word 2010 with ctrl+V on Windows 10. I attempted any other solution given to me on the internet such as restarting, updating the drivers, clearing clip board and customizing the button through the ribbon in the file. Right clicking does work.

    ctrl v not working

    Hello i use the ctrl v shortcut alot but suddenly it does not work anymore and that makes me sad. If it helps i have a Dell Latitude 3380 laptop.

    Please help, paste plain text (ctrl+shift+v) suddenly won't work for me anymore, but paste (ctrl+v) still does.

    Plain text paste does not work for me anymore either.

    It is caused by a recent windows update in June 2024.

    Using CTRL+ALT+V in MS Word offers the menu option of plain text, but it incorrectly pastes formatted text anyway.

    Pasting into Notepad should always paste with no formatting and the notepad default font, but that does not work anymore, and it paste formatted text with emojis and various fonts.

    Microsoft must fix this but!
