Windows 10: Snipping Tool Crashes Windows 11 After Recording Video and Prevents Restarting

This is bad,If users use the Snipping Tool to record a video in Windows 11, when stopping the recording, not only will the PC freeze, but if you try a restart, the PC won't restart, unless you unplug the power cord for about a minute, plug it back in and then hit the Power button. This is on a Windows 11 laptop. There is very recent data on this if you search for Snipping Tool crashes in Feedback Hub. Many users are reporting other errors as well when recording Snipping Tool videos in the Feedback Hub. It has been made into a "Collection Problem" by Microsoft.Personally, I was trying to snip

Snipping tool cannot do anything except save page snips. To screen record from Windows 11 there are options here:

Please try this:

Step 1:

Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

Click Reset,

Click Repair.

Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

Step 2:

Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

Step 3:

Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

• Windows Push Notifications System Service
  
• Windows Push Notifications User Service

The video recording in the Snipping Tool is not configurable, it is set to the one framerate and currently that cannot be changed, there is no setting or known registry hack to do that.

The best option would be to open the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F) and suggest to their developers they add this as an option in the Snipping Tool.
