    Windows 10 Auslogics defrag for home studio


    What defrag method should I use with auslogics disk defragmenter for a home studio desktop computer. I use Windows 10 22h2.
    Simple defrag or prefetch layout.
    If prefetch layout, how do I enable prefetch? I just installed 22h2 and it’s badly fragmented.
    I started with simple defrag.
    Should I somehow enable prefetch and optimize by pre fetch layout? Thanks.

    auslogics disk defrag

    It's an old thread, but i went with auslogics disk defrag, as it seems to make my computer a bit more snappy after using it. Also, it's probably not a good idea to defrag your ssd regularly as previously suggested, as it will wear your ssd out if you do it too many times.

    Defragging

    Having tried all defrag options listed am not having any success optimising drives. Have downloaded Auslogics Defrag and used ok but windows still says drive needs optimising and still won't work. HELP please

    As most of you probably know, it's not really a good idea to defrag your ssd, but auslogics offers an option to defrag your ssd with some algorithms they made, to optimize your ssd with. What do you guys think about this, has anyone tested it and if so, what were your results?

    Solved, i went with auslogics disk defrag, for better ssd optimization. ✔
