Windows 10: My Screen is getting off within 1 minute, if i left untouched.

Hi all,I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 with an Ultra 5 125H processor. I have to reinstall Windows, and I installed it from the official Microsoft website. Everything is working fine, but when I leave my laptop untouched for 1 min, its screen turns off. I changed the power options and the time for the screen to go off. But it is not helping. I am attaching the pictures of it. Please help me fix it.

I tried the 1 minute as suggested and left the computer untouched overnight but still no lock screen/screen saver.

Screen saver starting automatically after 1 minute of inactivity

I understand it can be frustrating when the settings of Windows are not working the way they are supposed to.

1. Which build version of Windows 10 you are using currently?
   
2. What is the exact model of the PC?

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Run the power troubleshooter. Follow the steps mentioned below to run the troubleshooter.

1. Go to Settings >
   Update & security > Troubleshoot.
   
2. Under Find and fix problems look for
   Power.
   
3. Click on it and select
   Run the troubleshooter.
   
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
   

Method 2:



Change the screen saver time and check.

1. Go to Settings >
   Personalization > Lock screen.
   
2. Now click on Screen saver settings.
   
3. On the screen saver window change the
   wait time as per your choice.
   
4. Click on Apply and
   OK.

I suggest you to perform the method below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Run the Power Troubleshooter

Power troubleshooter find and fix problems with your computer's power settings to conserve power and extent battery life

• Type “Troubleshooting” in the Search bar on the desktop and press “Enter”.
• In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.
• Click on “Power”.
• Click on “Advanced” and then click on “Run as Administrator”.
• Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Method 2:

After running the troubleshooter, set up Screen time out settings to required time and check.

Follow the Steps below.

1. Right click Desktop and select Personalization.

2. Click on Lock Screen and select Screen time out settings.

3. You can change to the required time in the drop down under Screen.

I suggest you to download and install the latest Chipset drivers from your computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.
