Windows 10: No sound after an update; have tried EVERYTHING.

After a routine automatic update, I have no sound. I have been through the help forums, and it looks like a similar issue to many other people. I have tried all of the other posted solutions: going through the automated troubleshooting features, uninstalling and reinstalling the audio driver, updating again, restarting the computer a million times, etc. NOTHING is working. I have a Realtek Audio Driver with a green check mark, so by all indications, it is installed correctly and appears to be operating correctly. But there's no sound.

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
