Whenever trying to open a Powerpoint file, I get the following message: Powerpoint found a problem with content in [File path] .pptx.Powerpoint can attempt to repair the presentation. If you trust the source of this presentation, click repair.After trying to repair, a following prompt appears: Sorry, Powerpoint can't read [File path] Troubleshooting steps: - Removed all odd versions of Office 365- Reinstalled office 365- Tried resetting the default file typeWhen looking in the default file type settings on windows 11, there were no options for .pptx files or the other Microsoft product files.

How to set default app for file type jpg

I would like to change the default app for the file type jpg. I've gone through all the steps for setting a default app but the jpg file extension does not appear in the list and therefore I cannot choose a default.

When I Open a jpg file it opens in the Photo app. If I look at the Photo app's settings of default file types, jpg is not there.

Ditto for file type png.

How can I access the default setting for these and other "hidden" types?
