Windows 10: Very Basic Questions about VS Code

I am 83 years old. I was a mainframe COBOL/BAL programmer in the early '70s and progressed through the ranks, retiring as CIO/CTO for a bank. I retired in 2001.I am trying to build a website. I'm self taught. I use VS Code for HTML/CSS/Javascript, although I've done very little with the latter. I have a website hosted that consists solely of HTML/CSS content. It is passive, not interactive, in that the content can only be scrolled through. I realize that there are apps that will generate code for websites but I prefer to use the core tools directly both to gain more control and to kee

Thank you for posting to the forum regarding your update error. At this point, I will provide some basic troubleshooting and request more information. There is no documentation or mention of this specific error by other customers. Please verify the following:

• What is the exact error code and message included?
• Where do you receive this error, on the PC, on the phone, in the Zune software, etc...?
• What is the current OS running on your phone, tap settings > about > more info?
• What is the OS running on your PC?

As for general troubleshooting, try the steps in this article,
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2484484?wa=wsignin1.0. As there is no mention of your error code I do suggest you review all the steps in this article. I would start with the steps for error code 801812C1 as this is the closest code I could find to the
one posted.



If you continue to have this error after trying the above steps, please attempt the update from another PC connected to a different network. If you can we would also suggest you use another sync cable.

I assume it runs on the .NET framework so the performance is probably the same.

I don't code unless I have something to code. You know, take this 10 step process and make it a 1 step process...

 

Unable to open Windows Store: The error code is 0x80072EFD

I have the common problem with the store with the above error code.

I have done some of the steps listed in other threads. I cannon find these threads again as Searching is extremely difficult in windows 10 as there is no browser history.

Can anybody suggest how to fix it beyond the basic steps?

Running "Type wsreset.exe and press Enter." did nothing or didn't work.

Another step listed was to check the latest video card driver. How is this done in Windows 10?

How do you drill down to internet/advanced options in windows 10? Again very easy in previous version, very difficult in windows 10.
