We have recently purchased a "Microsoft Win 11 Enterprise LTSC 2024 NCE COM BAS PER 1TM". We are unable to find the License on our Admin center, Eventhough we have checked on Global Administrator's Login. We have purchased it through CSP Partner with Microsoft. They didn't give any other information other than this, They have collected our Existing domain and activated the license on it. They just shared a domain and tenant ID details which the license has been available. From their side, they says, license has been activated and ready to use. How can we use on it, if we didn't get any ISO i

Commercial Preview of Microsoft Office LTSC is Now Available

Today we’re pleased to announce the commercial preview of Microsoft Office Long Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) for Windows and Office 2021 for Mac. The next perpetual version of Office for commercial customers is built specifically for organizations running regulated devices that cannot accept feature updates for years at a time, process control devices that are not connected to the internet in manufacturing facilities, and specialty systems that must stay locked in time and require a long-term servicing channel. Office LTSC will provide the familiar productivity tools you have experienced with Office 2019, now with faster performance and expanded accessibility. You can preview Office LTSC and Office 2021 for Mac starting today.

Office LTSC will include features from past Office releases as well as a subset of new features already available in Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise. As we announced in February, Office LTSC, like Windows 10 LTSC, will be supported for five years and continue being governed by the Fixed Lifecycle Policy. Office LTSC will be deployed using Click-to-Run exclusively, just like Office 2019, so IT admins can take advantage of modern deployment technology to help reduce costs. Office 2021 for Mac will use the standard Apple Package format (pkg) - the same technology that we have used for previous perpetual releases, including Office 2019 for Mac and Office 2016 for Mac. Microsoft 365 Apps continues to deliver the most productive and most secure Office experience, offering the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for deployment and management. In another recent announcement, we shared how Microsoft 365 Apps can also be used in organizations with employees going offline for longer periods of time or using shared devices or workstations. However, Office LTSC will be a valuable upgrade for customers who need to keep their Office Apps on-premises.

Support for Office 2016 and 2019 to Microsoft 365 services has ended

Support for Office 2016, Office 2019 clients connecting to Microsoft 365 services ended on October 10, 2023 (previously shared in older posts). If your organization is still using these versions to access Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business, it is important that you take action. Implications for your organization: Customers using these versions of Office may experience performance or reliability issues when accessing Microsoft 365 services. Here’s what you can expect:

Improvements to Microsoft 365 services will no longer be tested against Office 2016 and Office 2019. As a result, users could experience performance or reliability issues even if they can connect these versions of Office to Microsoft 365.

Microsoft will not actively block these clients from connecting to Microsoft 365 services as long as they are in extended support and are kept up to date. You can review our products’ lifecycle here.

Support for Office for Mac 2019 has ended Office 2019 for Mac has reached the end of the support on October 10, 2023. Clients running this version of the product will no longer receive security updates, bug fixes, technical support, or online technical content support. Continuing to use this version could increase your organization’s exposure to security risks, impact your ability to meet compliance obligations, and/or affect end user productivity. Recommended actions Customers affected by these End of Support (EOS) milestones should transition to a supported Office version to prevent potential security, compliance, and productivity risks. If your organization is seeking a solution that is always supported (refer to the Modern Lifecycle Policy), we suggest upgrading to Microsoft 365 E3. This solution includes Microsoft 365 Apps, which includes all apps users are already familiar with, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more. Alongside Microsoft 365 Apps, Microsoft 365 E3 offers the following capabilities:

Foundational Zero-Trust: Helps secure identities, devices, and applications against threats.
