Laptop randomly BSOD due to unknown memory/driver issue

So i was drawing on photoshop with OBS on, it was not recording at the time as i had just opened it, i went away to wash some dishes and came back to my laptop having restarted, I checked event handler and only found Critical event 41 in the last hour, I looked through the forums and after, performed a driver verification with the steps listed in this forum post. It restarted two to three times, i was not able to note down the error code in time as I was panicking. After the third BSOD, it locked down with bitlocker and i had to get my recovery key, Followed by a system recovery. I followed th

  2. BSOD Unknown Reason

The dump file on the 18th was caused by Quick Heal again. The later ones appear to be due to bit flips. I would recommend enabling Driver Verifier on all third-party drivers using the following instructions: 1) Search for verifier using the Start Menu and select the verifier.exe, accept the UAC prompt and you should be presented with the following screen:

    4) Select all drivers which are not Microsoft related and then click the Finish button. Afterwards, please reboot the computer and Driver Verifier will continue to run in the background. Please do not select the drivers which are prefixed with dump_

    BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:
    • Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
    • Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
    • After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.

I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

    Best of luck! *Toast :toast:

BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE randomly after cold boot/sleep

For the past month I have been getting random BSOD's all with driver power state failure. They happen randomly, usually within the first 5-10 minutes of cold booting or waking my computer. Steps I have taken to attempt to fix the problem:
    1. Reinstalled GPU drivers/ tried old drivers
    2. Fresh installed Windows 1803, still happened, then fresh installed 1709
    3. Disabled Fast Boot
None of these things fixed the issue, any help would be much appreciated at pinpointing the issue. Thanks
