List subfolders containing documents

Hi,

I have a large folder containing approximately 3000 subfolders, but in some of them I have document files like .pdf, .docx, etc.

Is it possible to list subfolders containing documents, I don't need files from subfolders, I just want to transfer those subfolders containing document files to another folder and delete all remaining subfolders.

I'm trying to get a list of file folders on OneDrive to print. I just need the folder names, not any subfolders or files. I'm on Windows 11. Is there a way to do this?

 

List folder files.

If the meaning is to get a list, one could open a Command Prompt window, change to the folder desired and type dir /o/s which will list all the files and folders plus subfolders. The switch /o organizes alphabetically and the /s includes subfolders. Could also add >list.txt to get something to print, open in Notepad, WordPad or your word processor.
