Windows 10: Updated my computer now the D drive is missing

I updated my computer last night and now my D drive is no where to be found. I looked at posts like this https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/error-code-10-an-io-adapter-hardware-error-has/007aa5fd-8e59-4096-a65b-cfe2bb66688a, no that isn't a solution. Why would it happen after an update. This is the main drive I work off of and now after an update it cannot be used. Why

D Drive is missing from my computer.

Like I said, my D Drive was on my computer, then it crashed and it wasn't. It isn't in my Disk Drivers, Disk Mangement, File Explorer, or anything. I also did a BIOS check and it couldn't find the missing drive. It doesn't even recognize it is there. If
you have any other suggestions I would be greatly appreciated.
