Windows 10: Why, why, why was " print preview" removed Notepad app in Windows 11?

Why on Earth was the feature "preview" in Notepad removed in Windows 11? It's very doubtful that there could be any rational reason for removing "preview". Even I know that. And, just so you know, I grew up with rotary phones so there's no tech feature in me. Am I really paying for a Microsoft subscription so helpful features are removed? I don't want to print all the pages and it would help to know how many pages would be printed? No feature for that either. Stop going backwards before reaching the Dark Ages.

When printing in Notepad, the Print dialog displays "No preview available"

Hello, I am running Windows 11 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1105).

When I open a new Notepad file and type some gibberish in it like "1234567890" and then go to File > Print, the Print dialog loads but displays "No preview available".

Is this by design or is this indicative of a problem?

I would appreciate having a working preview in the Notepad print dialog if at all possible.
