Windows 10: My computer detects my usb microphone, but refuses to let me use it. How can I fix this? ASAP!

Well, basicallyI was on a call with a friend when my computer suddenly stopped picking up my microphone. The light on it had turned red, meaning it was turned off- I originally had it on. I tried turning it back on, and I had no luck and it stayed red no matter what.I checked the input device, it detected the microphone, but my computer turned it off!I changed the cable, that didn't work! I changed to another USB port, didn't work either!I plugged the mic into my brother's computer and it WORKED?? PERFECTLY FINE?? Then why isn't my computer letting my USB microphone do its job???!!Is it some
