Windows 10: Can't open File Explorer Runtime Error! Program: C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe R6016 - not...

For some reason I cant open file explorer because of this error: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library X X Runtime Error! Program: C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe R6016 - not enough space for thread data OK When I first tried opening the app by using the start menu or taskbar, it didn't open. It seemed like it was crashing instantly because whenever I tried clicking it, Microsoft edge turned inactive or unfocused for a split second. Then, I tried using Windows Key + R to open up the run dialog and open explorer from there, it took a few seconds until this error message popped up. "Microsoft Vis

Why I am seeing a window "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" "Runtime error!" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" "R6016" "-Not enough space for thread data"?

Hi,

In my notebook, frequently a window appeared and texting the following information,

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"

"Runtime Error!"

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"

R6016

"-Not enough space for thread data"

I reinstalled the Google chrome, but still the message appearing frequently. Virus scanner didn't detect virus.

Please let me know the step by step process to solve this issue. Thank you.

 

Runtime Error R6016 in TimeCoder Pro

Original Title: Runtime Error R6016

I have run a program called TimeCoder Pro for over a year now for video transcript sync, but all of a sudden I am receiving this message, "Runtime error R6016 -not enough space for the thread data." Then the whole program shuts down. I have been chasing
this problem now for 3 weeks and it's shutting my business down and I have a deadline to meet. There is plenty of space on my hard drive so, what is the problem and how do I fix it quickly???

 

C++ Runtime Error in File Explorer in Windows 10

I just got a refurbished computer at the beginning of January. I installed a brand new upload of Windows 10 on a Lenovo X220 tablet. Both Windows 10 and all of my Lenovo Bios/ Driver software are up to date as of today.

Since I started using this program, I have had difficulty using File Explorer. When in File Explorer, any time I right click on any file name, I get the following error:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error Program c:\windows\explorer.exe

The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application support team for more information."

I have tried several different approaches recommended on the Microsoft community desk. I have done a full Memory test and it was fine. I have fully restarted explorer.exe from task manager also. I ran "Repair" in the Program section of the Control Panel on
both of the Visual C++ files in Program Directory. What is in my Program Files is 2013 Visual C++ What I have not done is uninstall and reinstall Visual C++.

I don't know if uninstall/ reinstall is a good option, but if it is, can you give me the link to the most recent versions of (x64) and (x86) .

Are there any other diagnostics I should run for potential conflicts?

The only game that is presently loaded is Minecraft. I do not think that would create any conflicts.

Any other suggestions would be welcome.
