Windows 10: After updating to Windows 11, My built-in webcam no longer works.

Hello,I recently opened my Predator Helios 300 and it had randomly updated to Windows 11.Every time I try to use my built-in webcam it comes up with the Error: 0xA00F4244 When I run the Windows diagnostic it says my webcam doesn't exist and when looking in my device manager, it doesn't show any webcams.In my device manager, there isn't a Camera section. And no camera appears in any of the sections when I select show hidden devices.I've also tried restarting my PC, checking my antivirus, checking my settings, and checking for a camera button.I'm at a loss for what to do.

built-in webcam no longer detected after upgrading MSI laptop to Windows 11

model - MSI GS75 Stealth 95D

after upgrading to Windows 11, the built-in webcam is no longer working. It doesn't show up in the device manager. And If I open the camera app, it gives me the error code: 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>

I would like to roll back to Windows 10 because I need my camera to work but the option of going back to a previous version is no longer available.

Can someone please suggest something that might get the camera back online?

Webcam no longer working

So it appears that this is a problem a lot of folk are currently having, but just want to post my own situation so I can (hopefully) get to a solution quicker.

I have my custom built PC, running Windows 10 Home 1909 Build 18363.836, and for a while my webcam was operating without any issues. Around 2 weeks ago, my PC no longer recognised when my webcam was connected and is not picked up by any apps. I am unaware of
any updates to my OS while this happened (and none should have happened since I have my home network listed as a metered connection, and updates are blocked over metered connections).

• I have tested the webcam with another computer and it works fine, so I know that it is nothing to do with that side of things.
• I have checked device manager, and the webcam does not appear after connecting it to my PC, even with scanning for new hardware.
• I have uninstalled/reinstalled the camera app in case there was a bug issue there.
• I have checked for and applied any updates to my OS in case this would have resolved the issue.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to how to resolve this issue?
