Windows 10: Windows 11 Media Player – switches between light and dark mode depending on file, no option...

I'm using Windows 11 with the default Media Player app. I want the Media Player to always use dark mode, regardless of system settings or file type.However, I noticed that when opening certain audio or video files even from the same folder, the Media Player sometimes opens in light mode and sometimes in dark mode, with no apparent reason. This inconsistency makes it hard for me to read the file info and player controls – especially in the light theme where the grey text is barely visible.I do not want to change the system-wide app theme to dark – I only want Media Player to always use the da

My media player 10 worked perfectly until windows update gave me media player 11. I had the same dark/purple videos showing up as well. I uninstalled 11 and went back to 10, uninstalled my k-lite codec pack and reinstalled it, but I still have the same problem! Anybody know what this is?

Enable Auto Dark/Light Mode on Windows 11

Hello, is there any way to enable an auto dark/light mode on windows 11 (for example a dark mode from sunset to sunrise and light mode elsewhere) without set dark or light mode manually every time in settings? I know that there is a third party app that can do this, but I was wondering if there is a native way to do it, if not it would be a nice feature to add in the next windows 11 update.
