Windows 10: Windows Update 2025-05 24H2 KB5058411 fails

I have just - with great struggles - got a previous update from 2024 to finally go through - and now I just get the next update, that fails!It is this update:2025-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems KB5058411Error code: 0x80070306 same error code as lastI have installed other waiting updates, cleaned the system files etc. but it still fails!It downloads the entire update and it seems to install the entire update 100%, and then....I get the error code again. No explanation, no cause, just this useless error code.What do I do?

Breaks WIFI

This update just installed on May 13, 2025. After the machine rebooted the WIFI failed connect. Once I removed the current update everything started to work again

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?

We have a customer who currently has the W11 22h2 in operation and would like to suspend 23h2 in order to switch to 24h2 in 2025. What is Microsoft's recommendation in this regard? Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?
