Windows 10: Forced Windows updates have killed my Laptop twice now within months!!?...

I have an Asus Rog Strix laptop G733W that I've had since 2022. Working fine for the most part.In February at the end of the day as I normally switched my computer down it seemed to be stuck shutting down, lights flickering on the front but screen black, so i impatiently turned it off with the power button I thought this was what caused it until now.. the next morning at startup I see Windows is automatically updating itself at startup, there had been an update in my notifications bar waiting but I deliberately chose not to update at the time but of course Windows decided to do it on its o

BSOD at least twice a month - uncertain cause

I have run driver verifier with the below settings for >48 hours. There have been no BSOD. Please advise on next steps

• I/O verification
• Force pending I/O requests
• IRP logging

 

Win10 forced update killed my laptop

I returned to my laptop that had been left on after an hour surprised to see a battery warning . My laptop lives on a desk and plugged in though maybe once a month i unplug just to cycle the battery . Restarting my MSI laptop got me a new night scene screen "like what you see?" and a password prompt . I disabled the scenes feature and the login password prompt long ago . I can only assume windows has decided to force 11 on people as they did 10 . Never mind that my intel i7 is incompatible , Far worse than that is they removed all drivers so i cannot recharge the battery or power on my laptop . Even removing the c-mos makes no difference , the laptop is dead unless anyone can suggest a fix ?

I’m waiting on a used power button to arrive in post so yeah it’s possible windows forced update just chose to add to my torture .
