Windows 10: I can t format a DVD-RW after I chose the wrong option in the Burn a disc pop-up

I have a DVD-Rw that I want to burn music on,but i made the mistake to choose the option to use like it like a usb in the burn a disc pop-up,now I can't even format the dvd again,please help me!

DVD RW Drive E not recognizing formatted Verbatim DVD-R Disc

My DVD RW Drive E does not recognize a formatted Verbatim DVD-R Disc that I am trying to burn.

Any suggestions?

    Insert a DVD into your DVD drive. If you're using an external drive, make sure it's plugged into your computer and turned on.

    In the Autoplay dialog box, click Burn files to disk using Windows Explorer. If you don't see the dialog box, click the Start button, click Computer, and then double-click your DVD drive.

    In the Burn a Disk dialog, type a name for the disk.

    Choose a format for the DVD. There are two different formatting options for rewritable DVDs. Once you've chosen a format, Windows will begin formatting the disc.
    

Click like a USB flash drive if you want to use the Live File System format. These discs can be played in computers, but not in most DVD players. Use this format if you want to back up
files on your computer. Files will be burned to disc as you add them.

Click with a CD/DVD player if you want to use the Mastered format. These discs can be played in CD/DVD players, as well as in computer DVD players. Use this format if you want to play
music or video from your DVD. Files will be burned to disc all at once, when you're done adding them.

    Click and drag the files you want to burn to the DVD into the empty disc folder.

    Close the disc session. There are different options for closing your session, depending on the formatting option you chose.
    

If you chose Like a USB flash drive, click the Manage tab, and then click Eject. This will make the files accessible on other computers.

If you chose With a CD/DVD player, click Finish burning. Choose the recording speed. The higher the number, the faster the recording speed. Windows will finalize copying the files to the
DVD.

Why can't I burn a disc image to a DVD-RW?

Hi,

There is a limit to how many times a DVD-RW can be reused...

Have you tried another DVD-RW disc ?

Do you have any type of 3rd party burning programs that may have "Taken Control" over your burner for burning RWs ?

What happens if you right click on the DVD Drive in This PC with the problem DVD-RW in it... Will it let you Format or Erase it ?
