Windows 10: How to get rid of the latest windows explorer selection accent colour?

With recent update windows has implemented accent colours to windows explorer selections. But personally I prefer the previous whitish colour. Is there a way to reset previous colour without rolling back the windows update or changing the accent colour?

Accent Colour Not Changing

Hi,

I upgraded to Windows 10 a couple of months ago, and I have my background changing automatically every 10 minutes. I also have set the option to change my accent colour with my background, but the accent colour won't change! For it to change, I have to lock
the laptop and unlock it again, or turn the accent colour option off and on again.

My drivers are all up to date, and I have tried reinstalling them. I have the latest version of Windows too. My brother has the exact same laptop as me, and the exact same driver versions (we compared), and his accent colour changes fine.

I'd appreciate some help with this.

File Explorer title bar accent colour reverts to grey at bootup

Tried that. Still have a grey title bar in File Explorer. Accent colour only applies to Task Bar, Start Menu, Browser, Notepad and Paint NOT File Explorer/Tabs. Maybe someone needs to look at the programming for the new tabbed explorer bar? I can't be the only one quiring this. Is your file Explorer the accent colour or is it grey?

 

Accent colour disabling

Just downloaded the new Bing Wallpaper app, and it changed my accent colour settings to a bright gold colour. I can't find a way to change it back to the default lack of accent colour that I've gotten used to for the past 4 years of using this computer.
Is there a fix, or is my computer a unique case with the accent not working from the beginning?
