  1. Quick Assists - Deactivates my mouse

I frequently use Quick Assist to help my sister with computer issues. We are both running Windows 11Today we logged into Quick Assist, but as soon as our computers connected, my mouse became inactive. I could move it, and when it rolled over an item, the item would pop up as normal, but the mouse buttons were deactivated. I couldn't right or left click on anything. I rebooted, and tried again with the same result. As soon as she disconnected and closed Quick Assist, my mouse buttons became active again. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

  2. Annoying sound in Windows 10 Quick Assist...

Quick Assist Audio "I can hear myself over my speakers while chatting in a teams call with the end user!" There should be a mute button built into Quick Assist. The Fix: (yep, a workaround) In your "System Tray" right click on the speaker icon (step 1) and choose "Open Volume Mixer" (step 2) Mute the app "Quick Assist" (step 3)

    Hi Henry,

It's possible that your computer's Internet Options is not set properly, that's why you're experiencing issues with Quick Assist. Kindly make sure that your computer is allowed to save encrypted pages by following these steps:

    • Type internet options on the search bar.
    • Click on Internet Options.
    • Click on Advanced.
    • Scroll down, and make sure that Do not save encrypted pages to disk is unchecked.
    • Click OK.

Once done with the steps, try to use Quick Assist again, then check if the issue persists.
