Windows 10: infinity 3 pedal not recognized after latest update

This update just happened 2025-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems KB5058411on 5/16/2025. Immediately after the update my VEC Infinity 3 Pedal no longer works despite going through set up again and it responds on the setup software but not with my transcribing software which was previously working this morning perfectly as before. I have restarted, cannot "go back" to previous windows or prior to update. I can't get anywhere with all the articles i find, none of the steps make any difference. How do i get this pedal to be recognized and working again??

Infinity foot pedal - Windows 10 usb recognized intermittently

I have an Infinity USB foot pedal. My computer running Windows 10 is only recognizing it intermittently, so it works some times and others not. I have plugged in and replugged and when not working does not show anything being plugged in or removed.

Is there an update or download so that Windows 10 will recognize the Infinity pedal?

I have an Infinity foot pedal which works with Express Scribe. Is there Windows 10 software which allows the pedal output to be linked with key presses generally? There is Pedalware but it has not been updated to Windows 10.
