Windows 10: How can I unlink Microsoft account from Windows login and switch back to local?

Hi,I set up my Windows 11 PC using a local account named "User", but later signed in with my Microsoft account. Since then, my full name and email are shown in the Start menu and Settings — which I want to remove.Here's what I’ve tried so far:In Settings > Accounts > Your info, there is no option to “Sign in with a local account instead.”I tried using netplwiz but it let me disconnect the Microsoft account.In Email & accounts, I can't remove the Microsoft account because it's the primary login.I don’t want to create a new account unless I can keep all my files, apps, settings, and co

Yea, I would create a local account and just use your school account to login to Outlook and Onedrive.

Switch local account to Microsoft login

I initially made a local account on my computer, but want to have this account info switched to my Microsoft login without having to manually move all user info.

Most online searching mentions a link to "login to Microsoft account", but that is not displayed in my user account area. My situation is just like the unresolved problem in this thread, and like him that last suggestion only takes me to the online login
page.

Help Removing Microsoft Account login

I am not sure if you want to switch to a local account instead of your Microsoft account, or if you want to keep your Microsoft account but login automatically instead of having to type the password.
