    Search bar + Explorer Path Missing


    Hello all, I've had this issue for some time now and I cannot personally handle it anymore. My explorer path and search bar have both been missing from my file explorer.I've no idea how or but it's been like this for a few months now. I've tried looking through the other questions but none of them quite have the same problem as me, nor have their solutions worked for me. Pressing F4 still brings down the context menu from the explorer path as if it were still visible.If any additional information is required to fix this I am happy to provide.

    Disable File Explorer Address Bar Path History?

    Hello, After entering a file path manually in File Explorer, the entry is kept in the dropdown list of the address bar until I go to View > Options > Clear File Explorer History. I'd like Windows to never store these paths, if possible. I have successfully disabled autocomplete via the registry using the following guide, but it doesn't prevent the history of file paths to be stored: Turn On or Off Inline AutoComplete in File Explorer and Run Dialog I've searched and searched but can't find a solution to this, yet. Hopefully someone has something to suggest that I haven't tried. I know it's possible, since I believe I had it working on my last Win10 machine, but I'm not sure how I did it. Thanks in advance!

    How to have full path always show in Address bar in file explorer?

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

    You can change the Windows 11 File Explorer address bar to show the full file path by following these steps:

    1. Open File Explorer.
    2. Click on the three-dot menu icon located at the top right of the window.
    3. Click on 'Options'.
    4. In the 'Folder Options' window that appears, go to the 'View' tab.
    5. In the 'Advanced settings' list, find and check the 'Display the full path in the title bar' option.
    6. Click 'Apply', then 'OK'.
