    Can’t log into my MS account after BIOS update


    Hey there!I just updated my BIOS to the newest version & now I’m running into an error.My PC started correctly & I wanted to log into my MS account on my PC. It says to changes in my security settings my PIN is not usable anymore & needs to be changed. I click through the process which wants me to enter a code sent to my email. But I do not receive the code.Some facts about my system / what I tried:- self-build PC; mainboard: Aorus Z790 X Pro Rev1.2- my PC is connected to the internet- my MS account is accessible from my smartphone / tablet both connected to the internet- tried l

    Still can't reproduce. Could you please post the exact BIOSes that produce the issue?

    How to switch Windows log-in from MS account to local account

    I did as suggested and got very close to it but see below:

    - - - Updated - - - Despite the error message, I could log back in with the password for my local account!! Thank you very much for your very effective suggestion. I posted the above because of the error message, but after all, the error message could be in error.*Wink
