Windows 10: Windows activation on ex school laptop

Hi,When my son left primary school he "bought" the school laptop it was a lease arrangement with the option to buy at the end.It hadt windows installed, but since we left the school I am getting the windows activation watermark. There is a key in the activation section of the settings, but windows does not appear to be activated and there is a message that says windows can't connect to my organisations activation server which I assume is the school, which the laptop is no longer connected to.How do I get rid of the watermark?

The problem your are facing is most likely caused due to your school having activated those PC's using Volume Licensing within the school Network or to be more precise IT department of the school.

If the Connection to this Sever has no outbound connection there is unfortunately no way to reach it. So the best Option without changing anything on the laptop is to be to contact the school. Hence some schools have penalties for performing unwanted changes
on the Laptops given to students.

Windows activation on school laptop

someday i just turned on my computer as usual and a message pops up saying I need to activate windows but i have already used this product for the past 2 years. This is a school computer that they give to you at the start of school. When I check the
settings it says:

We can't activate Windows on this device as we can't connect to your organization's activation server. Make sure you're connected to your organization's network and try again. If you continue having problems with activation, contact your organization's support
person. Error code: 0x8007232B

Please help me

 

Activating Windows on Old School Laptop

how on earth do you activate windows on an old school laptop? right now im using windows non genuine 10 version. i dont have my product key because i didnt purchase it from anyone, i used it at school and never took it back, so nowhere on the PC shows its
product key either. i dont know how to get a license to activate the windows, i dont have one and the internet isnt to clear on how to get it, or how to change or get another product key so i can move forward with activation. can someone please help me im
so lost and need it to continue using my PC.
