Windows 10: Unprompted installation: all my data is gone.

Windows just installed something possibly windows 365? on my computer and all my data is gone. It essentially acted as if I was setting up the laptop for the first time, required me to create a new password and reconnect to my WiFi router. I did not prompt any installation, I had simply put the pc to sleep yesterday. But I could not evade the process at the outset either. I am extremely frustrated as all my personal data is gone and I am not aware of giving any permission for the process. Please help!

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
