Unable to update Windows10 22H due to an error message indicating I the need to update the BIOS. unsure about the process to accomplish this. and i dont wanna mess anything up. HElP PLZ?

Windows Update Error Message 0x80070543


Ya Ya Ya, there's over a hundred threads like this, ...

Anyway, started getting this error message a few days ago, and done a lot of searching on this error message, apparently it's not, uncommon.

In particular, the (currently) 4 updates that are being affected are:

• Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3173428) - Error 0x80070543
• Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3172729) - Error 0x80070543
• Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3174060) - Error 0x80070543
• Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3176493) - Error 0x80070543

The actions I've taken to date are:

1. Uninstalled firewall program (comodo)
2. Uninstalled anti-virus (Avast)
3. Reset the windows update catalog on local machine.

So the above errors are with the above done.

What other steps should I be taking to resolve the issue?

Cannot update Windows 10 1709 to 22H2 double error messages/failed

I am UNABLE to update Windows 10 1709 to 22H2 using the Windows Update Assistant. It has failed a number of times today. It ALWAYS throws two error message EVERY TIME! Around 90% step 3, I ALWAYS get the following error message "Modern Setup Host Has Stopped Working". Immediately following I get another error message "Something went wrong. Select try again and if that doesn't work contact support. Error code 0xc190011f" I have tried at least five times already today. Google has VERY LITTLE information regarding Error code 0xc190011f and the few results are from 2017 and pertain to updating to 1709. I AM on 1709 trying to update to 22H2 and I get the SAME error. I added 22H2 to the search and every search results says "missing 22H2" throwing quotes around "22H2" only showed junk results. There seems to be literally nobody else in existence getting Error code 0xc190011f trying to update to 22H2. This is the same HP 2000 Notebook PC 2000-2b30dx that I was trying to install Windows 10 on with the Windows Upgrade Assistant (not to be confused with the Windows Update Assistant I am trying to install 22H2 with) and I am past the installing Windows 10 part now stuck on getting the latest build. I tried Windows Update but all that is doing is installing all the updates for 1709 ONLY and now it says that there is no more. Does anybody know what the problem could be and how to fix it?

 

Windows 10 update error

I recently tried to update my Win 10 1511 (10586.713 ) to 1601 and after several restarts it arrived at the screen that covers the log in screen and then it restarts with the message " restoring previous version ".After it started , the updater displayed a message " failed to migrate user data after second boot". Any ideas?
